Notes:
The program listing uses a few non-text characters. In the asteroid-prg.txt, these are typed between curly braces. “{M5}” is one “M5” background character, and “{M5|M5|M5}” is three M5 characters in a row, etc.
Game Instructions:
There are two game modes GAME A and GAME B which you can choose using the Select button. GAME B features more difficult asteroid fields. Press Start to start.
This is a fairly simple game: use left and right on the d-pad to steer your ship through the asteroid field. You can wrap around the left/right sides of the screen, as well. There are flags along the way that will give you bonus points. Every now and then, the asteroids will turn blue and things will slow down. This is to give the player a “breather” until things start flashing and start back up again.
The game ends when you hit an asteroid, at which point you’ll see your score and a message about how well you played.
