Game Instructions –

In the near future, when mankind has expanded into space, a new form of sport has emerged, 10,000 meters above the moon’s surface. These sports use “BATTLE BALLERS”, devices equipped with gravity-controlling engines, and have gained massive popularity.

LIST 1:
A time trial game for 1 player. Upon starting, a countdown will start. The blue BATTLE BALLER (hence referred as “BB”) is controlled with the joystick, and the player must guide it to the goal. There are 3 courses, and the time taken on each is shown on the right side of the screen (best times are shown on red). As a challenge, the author’s brother and debugger got the times 6.6, 11.5 and 9.3. Replay by pressing a joypad button.

LIST 2:
A dueling game for 2 players. The blue BB is controlled through the numpad’s 1-9 keys, and the red BB is controlled with the joystick. The player that falls off the stage loses the game. The winner is determined along the course of 3 rounds. Replay by either pressing Space or a joypad button. <

Extra Info –

For performance reasons, BB1 will fail upon reaching 999.9 seconds.

Message from the author:
The February issue didn’t include an X1 program! Shocking! To all old X1 users around the country, let’s bring out that old masterpiece out of the closet and let it bloom one last time!
